In the ceramic industry, rotary flash dryer is widely used for drying kaolin or bentonite. The final product dried by rotary flash dryer in fine powder, the particle size is uniform and moisture content is low. Its drying time is short and energy consumption is low.

XSG Rotary Flash Dryer is widely used for drying materials such as paste, cake shape, powder, granules material, etc. It is a new type high drying efficiency and low energy consumption equipment that researched and developed by our company.

Hot air enters the stirring part of drying chamber from the bottom, material is stirred by stirring device and then the hot air exerts strong shearing, blowing, floating and rotating effect to material. Therefore material is crushed by centrifugal, shearing, impacting and friction effect. It strengthens the heat exchanging process. In the bottom of drying chamber, big and damp granules are crushed by stirring device, the particles with low moisture content and small size are lifted by rotary air stream, and be further dried. Gas and solid two phases rotary flow, inertia of solid phase is bigger than gas phase, the relative velocity between gas phase and solid phase is high, heat exchanging efficiency is strengthened, so the drying intensity of this machine is high

4. Technical parameters of XSG Rotary Flash Dryer:

The raw material can be spread on the conveyor belt through suitable mechanism such as star distributor, vibrating belt, grinder or granulator. The conveyor belt will pass the channel that consist one or several drying units. Each drying unit is equipped with air heating and circulating system, and each drying unit has one or several dehumidification system. The hot air will move up and down when the flour dryer machine passes though.

The material is distributed to the mesh belt evenly by the feeder. The size of stainless steel mesh is 12-16mm mesh. The transmission device will moves the mesh belt around the dryer. The dryer consist a several drying units and each unit has individual hot air circulation system. Part of the exhausted gas is exhausted by an exhaust fan. The waste gas is controlled by an adjusting valve. The hot air will move up and down when the material moving from the top layer to the bottom layer. This process will evaporate the water from the material when the mesh belt moves slowly. The running speed of the conveyer belt can be adjusted according to the material property. The dried material will be automatically discharged to a collector. The circulation units can be equipped according to the user’s requirement and the production demands.
